Consulting

Before a solution can be successfully deployed, a clear understanding of the business need and its return on investment is required. In addition, to having a defined scope for the solution, a comprehensive set of requirements and/or agreed features need to be established as these will determine the direction the solution will take and guarantee its successful implementation.

Implementation

We can provide both a full-service solution implementation and one that works with your team.

A full-service solution implementation approach is one where we develop and/or configure the agreed solution design functionality, deploy to test and production environments, migrate any required data, deliver end user and solution administrator training and finally provide go-live support.

If your organisation has technically capable people who wish to implement a solution but require some augmented technical assistance, then we can provide the specific and targeted technical services your team needs to successfully implement their solution.

Note that even if we initially deliver services using the full-service solution implementation approach, full solution knowledge transfer to your team will be a priority so that any ongoing dependency to Atia Solutions is maintained at a level of your choosing.

Support

Post implementation solution support is critical to ensure a successfully deployed solution continues to have a high adoption rate and continues to deliver the intended value that meets the business needs.

For any solutions that we implement for your organisation, we can provide application-level support that ranges from end user functionality support to solution functionality changes and updates.

Ongoing end user and administrator mentoring and training is typically overlooked once a solution has been deployed. We would encourage that this type of ongoing support is requested from us to ensure your staff are utilising any deployed solutions to their fullest capabilities.

Documentation

Creating and maintaining documentation is another area that generally lacks the attention that it requires.

For any solution that we implement there will be an appropriate set of documentation provided that can include but not limited to:

  • Business Requirements Documents
  • Solution Design Documents
  • Solution Test Documents
  • Data Migration Documents
  • User Guides and Training Manuals

It should be noted that modern solutions are typically delivered using agile and/or iterative approaches where features are documented via Product Backlogs and functionality documented via Epics, Features and User Stories. When modern documentation techniques such as these are used, many of the traditional documents listed above may not be required.

Our approach to documentation would be to create and maintain the style of documentation that is fit for purpose that ensures that a deployed solution is properly documented and well supported for its operational life.
